Registration Required: See below or on the Flyer.

Historic Latter-day Saint Dome Church

739 E. Ashton Ave, SLC

Guest Speaker: Katherine Hayhoe

“I wanted to let you know about an upcoming event put on by the Latter-day Saint Creation Care Coalition (that is a mouthful). The coalition is comprised of the Mormon Environmental Stewardship Alliance, Mormon Women for Ethical Government, LDS Earth Stewardship, and the CCL’s LDS Action Team.

On April 16th at 7pm, we’ll have the renowned climate scientist Katharine Hayoe address us in Salt Lake. Katharine is one of the most acclaimed climate communicators around. She hosts PBS’s Global Weirding and has published a number of books on how to talk about Climate Change. She is not shy about being a Christian and urging others to use their background of faith as a stepping stone to climate action.

The event will be hybrid in-person/virtual. So please attend in whatever way is most comfortable for you. This is a phenomenal opportunity to hear from both a scientist and a Christian on how best to approach such a global problem
