Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and Emerald Hills Institute are organizing Prayers for Peace Event!
In this time of transition and tension in our nation, we cherish the common bonds of unity and peace found in all our faith traditions. On Tuesday, Jan. 19, from 6-7 p.m. on Zoom and live streaming on YouTube, we have planned an event, Prayers for Peace, for our voices of love and peace to be heard. We would be honored if you would be willing to share a prayer of peace from your faith tradition. The format will be for several faith leaders to offer a prayer from their tradition. There will be space for other participants to offer a prayer, as well. We will be inviting our congregations, communities and other folks. Please feel free to share this event in your networks.
Rev. Brigette Weier from Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, will host the event. While you are invited to attend the entire hour of prayer, if you need to offer a prayer at a specific time please contact her at pastor@oslcslc.org or by phone at 720-202-8212. Or if you have another commitment for that evening, but would like to submit a prayer to be read by her during that time, that would be welcome.
